288 Elderly Residents in Kwitang Urban Village Receive KLJ Funds

Total 288 elderly residents in Kwitang Urban Village, Senen Sub-district were recorded as recipients of social assistance (bansos) for Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ) Phase 3 for July-September 2021 period. The amount received by each recipient was Rp 1.8 million.

rmed that elderly residents in his region could withdraw funds from KLJ Phase 3 social assistance program."For the third stage, there is a decrease in number of elderly who receive Bansos KLJ because after collecting their data, some of them live in social house, died, and move outside Jakarta," he explained, Thursday (9/30).
West Jakarta Simultaneously Distributes KLJ, KPDJ and KAJOne of Bansos KLJ recipients in Kwitang Urban Village, Jubaedah (70) looked happy after knowing Bansos KLJ fund could be withdrawn. Together with her grandson, she was seen withdrawing the fund at Bank DKI ATM located at Kwitang Urban Village Office.
"I live with my husband and grandchildren who have become orphans. Currently, I rely on Bansos KLJ to help meet our daily needs, such as buying rice and cooking oil," she conveyed.
In order to support her family, Jubaedah sells side dishes and fried foods. She starts preparing foods from 4 AM and sell it. Income from selling foods is used to help her husband support the financial condition in her household, especially during the pandemic.
"Thank God, KLJ funds help us to meet our daily needs and sell foods," she expressed.
